Photo of the art room at Hounslow Community Land Project. This was built by a few of the squatters to host art workshops for kids in the local area. It also acts as a gallery/shop space where pieces made by the squatters can be sold for food. 

These projects exists in the land of no health and safety…is this a good thing? Does it encourage an alternative way of living and a new approach to design. Is it just going to be tolerated until something goes very wrong? 

Can these types of projects act as models of some sort to be put in place elsewhere? (Findhorn worked…)
